Return and Refund Policy
At African Market / Afrikos Turgus, we want our customers to be satisfied with their purchases. Please read our return and refund policy carefully.
Right of Withdrawal (EU Customers)
In accordance with European Union consumer protection laws, customers have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days from the date of delivery without giving any reason, except for items that are exempt by law.
Non-Returnable Items
For health, safety, and hygiene reasons, the following items cannot be returned or refunded:
• Perishable food items
• Fresh produce
• Frozen goods
• Opened or unsealed food products
• Items with damaged or removed original packaging
These exclusions are in line with EU regulations for food and consumable goods.
Returns (Non-Food Items)
Non-food items may be returned within 14 days of delivery provided that:
• The item is unused and in original condition
• The item is in its original packaging
• Proof of purchase is provided
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was defective or incorrect.
Refunds
Once a returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–14 business days.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or refund where applicable.
